The Clatsop Community College Board of Education is seeking applicants to fill two vacant positions on the board for Zones 2 and 3. Applicants should submit their letters of interest by close of business on Monday, May 22, 2023.
Zone 3 includes the areas of Cannon Beach, Seaside, Gearhart, Arch Cape area, Warrenton, Clatsop Plains area, Necanicum area south of Seaside, and Stanley Acres north of Seaside. Zone 2 includes the City of Astoria, John Day area, Lewis & Clark area, and Olney-Walluski areas).
Interested persons are asked to submit letters of interest for the position accompanied by resumes of relevant experience. Those applying for zone representation must be a registered voter residing within the zone area and have been a resident within the district for one year immediately preceding the appointment. Applications must be submitted to the President’s Office at Clatsop Community College located at 1651 Lexington Avenue, Astoria, OR 97103 or via email to fgreen@clatsopcc.edu.
