Project Clothesline Shirts Displayed in Towler Hall at CCC

Students of the Women and Social Action Women's Studies class at Clatsop Community College display shirts on campus this month painted by themselves and engaged community members to bring awareness to domestic violence issues. This project is part of the national “Clothesline Project” which started in Cape Cod in 1990 after a woman was murdered by her male partner in their community. The Clothesline Project has become a national demonstration to raise awareness about and fight to end domestic violence.
