Sara Meyer and Timothy Lyman were sworn into office Tuesday, July 9 at the Clatsop Community College Board of Education meeting as its newest members. Sara represents Zone 2 which covers Astoria and Timothy fills Zone 3 that covers an area from Warrenton to Cannon Beach.  Anne Teaford-Canter and Karen Burke were reinstated and sworn in for another term as well.

Once the board members were sworn in, the group determined leadership for the year. Board member Robert Duemig was voted as Chairperson, and Rosemary Baker-Monaghan was voted as Vice Chairperson.

One position for Zone 3 which covers the area from Warrenton to Cannon Beach remains vacant at this time. The board will move forward with advertisement and interviews for this position over the next few months.
