Biology
Biology classes encourage students to find a better understanding of the life processes and diversity that surrounds them. Clatsop Community College offers biology classes for those who will be transferring to a four-year institution, students pursuing a Nursing degree and anyone who wants to learn more about the natural world.
These biology classes are the foundation of four-year degrees in biology, human and animal medicine, fisheries, wildlife and forestry and transfer to most other institutions. For more information about Clatsop Community College classes that are part of a four-year degree in biology, speak with your advisor.
The biology department also offers “non-majors” classes (BI 101, 102, 103) for those students who are not science majors and who need a year of science for the Associate of Arts, Oregon Transfer Degree.
