The Board of Education's annual retreat. The retreat will be facilitated by Dr. Rick Aman from ACCT.

The June 2025 Regular Board Meeting will convene immediately following the Executive Session.

• THIS IS THE TIME AND PLACE to conduct a public hearing on the 2025-2026 budget as approved by the Budget Committee and recommended to the Board on May 6, 2025, and as published in The Astorian on June 7, 2025.
• OPPORTUNITY FOR MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC TO DISCUSS THE BUDGET proposed for the fiscal year July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 and for the Governing Body to make any amendments, if deemed necessary.

Individuals wishing to sign up for public comment to discuss the budget during the meeting should do so by emailing Felicity Green at fgreen@clatsopcc.edu by no later than 12:00 noon on June 12, 2025. Public comments may not exceed 3 minutes unless approved otherwise by the Board Chair.

Public comment will also be accepted by mail to: Felicity Green, Board Secretary, 1651 Lexington Avenue, Astoria, OR 97103, by close of business on June 12, 2025.

The Executive Session will be convened immediately following the Public Hearing on the Budget.

• The Clatsop Community College Board of Education will meet in Executive Session in accordance with ORS 192.660(2)(I) AND 192.660(8) to review and evaluate the performance of an officer, employee or staff member if the person does not request an open meeting. This reason for executive session may not be used to do a general evaluation of an agency goal, objective or operation of any directive to personnel concerning those subjects.

• Representatives of the news media and designated staff shall be allowed to attend the executive session. Representatives of the news media are specifically directed not to report on any of the deliberations during the executive session, except to state the general subject of the session as previously announced.  No decision may be made in executive session.  At the end of the executive session, the Regular Board Meeting will be convened and any necessary actions will be taken there. 

The Presidential Evaluation Committee of the Board of Education will meet in Executive Session pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(i) and 192.660(8): To review and evaluate the performance of an officer, employee or staff member if the person does not request an open meeting.
