The Board of Education meets the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
All meetings are open to the general public unless otherwise indicated.
2026 – 2027 Board GoalsÂ
- Support the Strategic Plan
By June 30, 2027, review at least three updates on progress toward the College’s 2025-2030 Strategic Plan.
- Ensure Fiscal Stewardship
By June 1, 2027, adopt a balanced budget and review regular financial reports to monitor the College’s financial health.
- Participate in Board Development
By July 30, 2027, participate in at least one Board development activity.
- Support and Evaluate the President
By March 26, 2027, establish annual goals for the President and complete the President’s annual evaluation.
Public Meetings LawÂ
Effective October 1, 2024, the Oregon Government Ethics Commission is responsible for 
enforcing violations of public meeting law. If you feel there has been a violation of public meeting law, you must submit a written grievance to the Board of Education within 30 days of the meeting at which the alleged violation occurred.
Please submit written grievances to Felicity Green, Executive Coordinator to the President and Board of Education at fgreen@clatsopcc.edu or by mail at 1651 Lexington Ave., Astoria, OR 97103. Written grievances may also be submitted in person between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday in Towler Hall, Room 205.
