Points of View [EBSCO] Points of View Reference Center contains more than 380 core topics, each with an overview (objective background/description), point (argument) and counterpoint (opposing argument). Each topic features a Guide to Critical Analysis which helps the reader evaluate the controversy and enhances students’ ability to read critically, develop their own perspective on the issues, and write or debate an effective argument on the topic.

The Atlantic Archive [EBSCO] This full-text archive from 1857-2014 covers events and political issues through literary and cultural commentary. It includes more than 1,800 issues providing a broad view of 19th, 20th, and early 21st-Century American thought.

Slavery in America and the World: History, Culture & Law [HeinOnline] is a collection that brings together essential legal materials on slavery in the United States and the English-speaking world. This includes every statute passed by every colony and state on slavery, every federal statute dealing with slavery, and all reported state and federal cases on slavery. Also includes hundreds of nineteenth-century pamphlets and books on slavery from the Buffalo Public Library's rare book collection. Available on-campus only; no off-campus access provided.

Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade Database - this database is the culmination of several decades of independent and collaborative research by scholars drawing upon data in libraries and archives around the Atlantic world.

University of Oregon Historic Oregon Newspapers — a fabulous collection of digitized newspapers from across the state including many from the north coast.

World History Collection [GALE] is a collection of nearly 40 journals providing balanced coverage of both the current thought and events in World History, as well as scholarly work being established in the field. Useful both to the novice historian and to the advanced academic researcher.

Bates Visual Guide delivers head-to-toe and systems-based physical examination techniques for the (Advanced) Assessment or Introduction to Clinical Medicine course. The site features more than 8 hours of video content.

Micromedex Full-text databases with unbiased, referenced information on drugs, toxicology, diseases, and alternative medicines. Includes the CareNotes System, which contains patient information, in English and Spanish, for all aspects of care, medications, and health.
Nursing and Allied Health Collection [GALE] offers researchers looking for answers to nursing or allied health questions millions of articles found in over 1,100 journals. It provides full-text coverage of many of the titles cited in CINAHL.
Nursing Made Incredibly Easy - a well-respected publication that presents complex nursing issues in easy to understand language. Only one user per session allowed per licensing rules.
Nursing Resource Center [GALE] Designed for nursing students, the Nursing Resource Center brings together in an easy-to-use interface disease and drug overviews, care plans, relevant journal results, and animated anatomy and physiology diagrams to complement the core encyclopedia texts.

PubMedCentral (PMC) is a free full-text archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature at the U.S. National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine (NIH/NLM).
