Sign up for a fitness orientation session!

Sign up for a fitness orientation session led by Lydia Eastman! Fitness orientation sessions includes:

  • A cardio and weight equipment overview with emphasis on proper use and technique
  • Reviewing sample fitness plans
  • How to set and measure personal fitness goals
  • Developing individual fitness plans for summer term

Students who complete the fitness orientation will be able to check back in this winter for level 2! Sign up at the front desk in Patriot Hall, on the 3rd floor. Each session is limited to 15 students, so be sure to add your name to the list to secure your spot. This orientation is free and open to all persons registered for a Student Fitness or Bandit Community Fitness course.

Fitness Facilities

Indoor Running Track: 3 lanes, 16.75 laps = 1 mile

Weight Room: Free weights and machines

Cardio Room: 21 Machines

Gym Floor/Court: Open gym activities each term

Locker Rooms: Shower facilities and lockers

2 Studio Fitness Classrooms, 2 Standard Classrooms



Hours of Operation

Facilities are subject to College scheduling, events and closures. Weight and cardio use priority is given to college classes and events. Reserved times will be posted below and communicated each term.

Fall Term (Sep 24th - Dec 9th)                                                                           

Monday – Friday: 6:00 am – 10:00 pm                                                                 
Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm     

Winter Break (Dec 10th - Dec 23rd & Jan 2nd - Jan 6th)

Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

 To participate in Patriot Hall's Open Gyms, you must be a registered member to use the facility.                                                                                                                                 


Renting Patriot Hall

Patriot Hall, along with other rooms and buildings on our campuses, are available to rent for your events. Both for-profit and non-profit pricing are available. Please contact Helen Overholser at or 503-338-2433 for availability or to schedule your event.
