If you need help getting the word out about a gathering, event, or something else of interest to students –  ASG can help with that.  Email Student Government and let them know: asg@clatsopcc.edu.
Along with traditional course work, out-of-class activities, clubs and other campus organizations are an important part of a student’s education. At Clatsop, there are recreation and social activities throughout the year. Student clubs and activities are for academically enrolled students to participate in.
If you have a special interest, you are invited to form a club and seek Associated Student Government (ASG) approval as a recognized student organization.  
Go to the Dean of Student Success in Columbia Hall, room 115 to request a club application packet or click on the link below.
Clubs must send at least one officer to an ASG meeting when proposing a new club or renewing a past club.
Be actively involved in the campus and local community while fostering the development of leadership skills in a supportive environment.Â

Rain Magazine is Clatsop Community College’s only student-led publication. The magazine is put together by the students enrolled in Winter term’s Writing 270: Literary Publications class, though the production of the magazine–from promotion to launch to distribution–is a year-long endeavor, which is why Rain has been categorized as a student club in the past.
For over fifty years Rain Magazine has been sharing the art and literature of the campus and the local community with the support of our student body and regional businesses. Each year our launch party–the sole literary event on campus–brings the whole community together for to celebrate our local talents. Many CCC students’ first publication credit comes from Rain Magazine.
