Clatsop Community College and the Full-Time Faculty Association have ratified a new three-year collective bargaining agreement covering 2026–2029.
The agreement reflects a productive bargaining process focused on clarity, student success, and the long-term interests of the College. It includes a 3.0% cost-of-living increase for full-time faculty in 2026–27 and moves future cost-of-living increases to a CPI-based model for the next three years, aligning faculty compensation increases with other employee groups and supporting more predictable budgeting.
The agreement also supports College priorities by creating incentives for summer instruction, high-enrolled sections, HyFlex delivery, and dual credit and early college partnerships. These changes are intended to expand student access, support enrollment growth, and recognize work that directly advances student success.
“This is a strong and balanced agreement for our faculty, our students, and the College,” said President Jarrod Hogue. “I appreciate the professional and pragmatic approach of the faculty bargaining team. Together, we reached an agreement that supports employees, protects the long-term interests of the College, and keeps our focus on students.”
The agreement also clarifies several operational areas, including workload, summer scheduling, and the use of artificial intelligence and digital likeness.
