Ales & Ideas Presents: The Salty Brotherhood of American Whalers

CCC and Fort George Brewing invite you to the Ales & Ideas Lecture Series. On Thursday, February 5th, CCC Instructor Dr. Julie Brown will give a presentation on The Salty Brotherhood of American Whalers. The presentation will be held at the Fort George Lovell Taproom with doors opening at 6 p.m. and the presentation starting at 7 p.m.
Dr. Brown will discuss how a crew of 20 men from all parts of the world could pull together to find and kill and butcher whales around the world. Find out how their common superstitions, language, tattoos, and songs helped them haul away all together.
