Pi Day Family Fun Event
March 14 @ 1:59 pm – 6:00 pm
Join Clatsop Community College (CCC) for a free family event at CCC’s Lexington Campus in Patriot Hall from 1:59 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14th, 2026. CCC is celebrating the mystery of the mathematical constant Pi (π) with fun family activities for all.
Admission is free and activities are no charge! This event, hosted by the CCC Math Department, is appetizing for all ages, and families are encouraged to attend (children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult). CCC’s regionally acclaimed band, the π‘d π‘pers, will rock the event with music and singing. There will be math games, a Pi-walk, face painting, Pi prizes and more. Pi’s famous relative—Pie—will be offered by the Pi-Phi Chapter of CCC Student Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa, for free-will donations. And back by popular demand, the throwing of pie at faculty and college leadership activity will be sure to delight and make a delicious mess.
What is Pi Day:
Pi is everywhere around us; it is the ratio of any circle’s circumference to the length of its diameter. Pi Day is March 14th, which mimics the first 3 digits of Pi (3.14).
