Admissions

The admissions department gets you admitted as a student at CCC. If you are a new or returning student to CCC, please make an admissions appointment. If you are already a student and are looking to register for classes, please click on Advising.

  • Complete the online admissions application for certificates or degree-seeking students.
  • Meet with an Admission counselor to become a student at CCC or become readmitted to CCC.

Financial Aid

The financial aid department handles grants and scholarships for students. Please visit the First Stop in Columbia Hall Rm 109 or call (503) 338-2417 for basic questions about financial aid, scholarships, and turning in financial aid forms. You can pay your student bill at the First Stop.

  • Please email finaid@clatsopcc.edu with questions or concerns about your financial aid account.
  • Please complete your FAFSA application prior to scheduling an appointment with financial aid.
  • Create FSA ID for FAFSA application first (for parent and student).
  • Customer Service Number for FAFSA: 1-800-433-3234

STEP Program

STEP is for Oregon resident students eligible for SNAP who are pursuing a career focused program, building English skills or completing GED® tests. STEP helps students develop a college and career plan to guide their education and career goals.

In order to be eligible for the STEP program, you must be an Oregon resident and be receiving SNAP benefits (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), click below to apply.

Benefits Navigator / Basic Needs Assistance

This department helps students with applying to basic needs services like SNAP (food stamps) and other services.

TRIO Student Support Services (SSS)

TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally funded program ($348,048 annually) for first generation, low income or disabled students.

TRIO SSS services include:

  • Scholarships
  • Transfer Assistance
  • Career & Major Exploration
  • Lending Library
  • Individual Tutoring in Writing & Math!
  • Take Credit Classes for Free!

This program requires a separate application.

Student Access Services

We work with students with disabilities and the campus community to help ensure equal access to CCC’s educational and community programs.

  • Test-taking facilitation for those with testing accommodations (e.g. extended time, distraction reduced)
  • Reasonable classroom accommodations
  • Access to assistive technology
  • Student advocacy for ensuring accommodations are provided
  • Consultations and collaborations with Instructors
  • Consultations with and referrals to off-campus service providers
