Getting to know how to use MyCCC is important. Here you can access your student account information, register for classes, drop & add classes, view financial aid and billing information, check grades, and request official and unofficial transcripts. Make sure to log in and get familiar with all MyCCC has to offer. If you need help, contact the Welcome Center.
Your student email is the official form of communication from the College. Check your CCC email regularly. Not only will your online instructors be using it to communicate, you’ll also receive updates about registration, payment, and financial aid as well as important college announcements through this account.
Disability impacts lots of people, but not everyone is familiar with how the accommodation process works. If in doubt – check it out. Disability Services.
Using the CRNs (Course Reference Numbers) for the classes in which you are registered, visit your campus bookstore to buy your text books for the term. You can also search for textbooks here, or login to MyCCC and View Class Schedule – your textbook information will be listed there if available.
It is a requirement that all online students come in once and verify picture ID with the Distance Learning staff. If you have not already done so, you do need to arrange this. You will not have access to your class until it has been done. Contact Distance Ed, and if it is not possible for you to come to campus, other arrangements can be made.
Waitlist status: If you are on the waitlist for a class and a space becomes available, you will be taken off the waitlist and registered for the class, so check your schedule often. Note: if you register for one class and are on the waitlist for another section of the same class, and a space becomes available in the waitlisted class, you will not be registered. You can’t register for the same class twice. Think about your schedule and monitor your waitlist status if your waitlisted class is your preferred section.
Dropping a class: To drop a class log in to MyCCC, select Drop/Withdraw in the Registration section and follow the instructions. Full-term classes (8-12 weeks) must be dropped by the first Friday of the term to receive 100% tuition refund. Shorter classes have sooner deadlines.
