Transcript evaluation occurs when an admitted certificate or degree-seeking student submits an official transcript from a previously attended college or university.
Your official transcript is evaluated on the basis of your major. Your evaluation, including credits accepted and any previously approved course substitutions may change if you change your major.
The time required for evaluation is dependent upon when the student was admitted and when the official transcript was received. Although, 1-2 weeks for evaluation is common, other circumstances may effect the length of time required for evaluation.
When evaluation has been completed, the student will be able to see transfer credit listed in their unofficial transcript available through MyCCC.
