The 2014 Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for 7 p.m., Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Liberty Theater. As a graduate, you must arrive by 6 p.m. Enter through the 12th Street entrance and check in with the Clatsop Community College representative. After checking in, you will go directly upstairs to the McTavish Room located on the second floor.
To participate in the commencement, all students are required to wear approved regalia.
If you will attend the commencement ceremony, you must attend the Commencement rehearsal at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the Liberty Theater. Your participation in this rehearsal is required, and is necessary to ensure a perfect graduation night—one you will remember for the rest of your life.
If you have a final exam scheduled at this time (or any time after 5 p.m.), you may email Student Services to notify us that you cannot attend the required rehearsal. Please include the course and your instructor’s name for verification purposes.
If you ordered a cap and gown, you may pick up your order at the College Bookstore located in Columbia Hall. The bookstore will announce when regalia is available for pickup. The bookstore is open weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Due to limited seating, each graduate who indicated they will participate in the ceremony may receive up to five tickets for guests to attend the commencement ceremony. Tickets are required for everyone (including children) for admittance into the Liberty Theater.
If you do not require all tickets, we ask you provide your tickets for redistribution to others. If you require more tickets than your allotment, submit your request to the Student Services Center. Tickets will be redistributed through a random drawing (maximum of four additional tickets).
All guests, including children and spouses, must enter through the main theater entrance. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. (opening time subject to change). A reception is available for you and your guests at the conclusion of the ceremony.
Please email us with any requests for accommodations. You also may call the disability services office at (503) 338-2474. Please arrange by May 30.
