College Level Exam Program (CLEP)

The college recognizes credit obtained through CLEP testing. Because the college does not award credit, but instead "recognizes" CLEP credit may be used to satisfy Clatsop degree requirements, transferring students always should consult the destination school. All institutions reserve the right to view CLEP credit subject to institutional guidelines. There is variance among institutions,, and Clatsop makes no guarantees regarding the transferability of CLEP examination scores used to satisfy Clatsop degree requirements..
The College Level Exam Program (CLEP) includes nationally normed examinations. CLEP offers subject matter examinations. The College recognizes CLEP scores for some, but not all, subject areas. Score cutoffs vary as listed below. Admitted students may send scores to the Registrar's Office for evaluation.
Students may request official CLEP Transcripts by following the instructions on the College Board website.
