Any student registered in a Clatsop Community College class may participate in free Judo Club activities. Also open to CCC staff.
Judo Club meets Mondays (4:30-7 p.m.) and Wednesdays (4:30-6 p.m.) in Columbia Hall, Room 117. Drop-ins are welcome, and partial attendance is allowed to accommodate personal schedules.
Judo, known as “The Gentle Way”, will be presented as an Olympic Sport and as self-defense, starting with “breakfall” (safe falling) and tumbling techniques, then progressing through application of and defense against hold-downs, and finally culminating with throws.
