M/V Forerunner

M/V ForerunnerForerunner is Clatsop Community College's training vessel. Originally launched as a commercial fishing vessel in 1969, Clatsop acquired Forerunner in 1974. After years of service on the Columbia River, Forerunner underwent a major overhaul in 2010.

Forerunner's distinctive yellow steel hull is a fixture on the Lower Columbia River, with an area of operation from the Pacific Ocean to 50 miles upriver.
