Our community relies on a thriving fishery, and students who have an interest in protecting this vital resource can be begin their academic career at Clatsop Community College. Students who intend to transfer to a four-year college or university can start at Clatsop Community College with advantages like access to excellent faculty, small class sizes and more affordable tuition that four-year schools cannot match.

Clatsop Community College does not offer any fisheries specific classes, although the Associate of Arts, Oregon Transfer (AAOT) degree is a great start towards a fisheries degree. Clatsop students also have the option of dual enrollment with Oregon State University’s online fisheries program allowing them to take upper level classes while still at Clatsop Community College.

Your advisor will help you select classes that will begin your academic career in fisheries.
