Investigations, A Retrospective Look at the Work of Artist David Allison, Opens at CCC Art Center Gallery

The Clatsop Community College Art Center Gallery will open its 2015/2016 exhibition season with a show entitled Investigations, a retrospective exhibition by Seattle artist David Allison, featuring artwork created by the artist over a span of 40 years, from 1975 through the current year.

Another Perfect Score for CCC Nursing Grads

Clatsop Community College is proud to report that all 2015 Nursing Program graduates passed the National Council Licensing Exam (NCLEX) on their first attempt. This exam is sanctioned by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing and represents the final step towards RN licensure. The exam measures competencies needed to perform safely and effectively as an entry level nurse, and permits the Oregon State Board of Nursing to license those who pass as Registered Nurses. CCC congratulates each of these new Registered Nurses.

CCC Automotive Program Returns to Full Strength

Clatsop Community College’s Automotive Program has returned to 100% strength with Thad Nolan as its full-time instructor assisted by several part-time instructors from the private sector.

CCC Adds New Agriculture and Natural Resources Degree Option

Clatsop Community College announces a new partnership with Tillamook Bay Community College (TBCC) that opens the opportunity of earning an Associate of Applied Science degree in Agriculture and Natural Resources in Clatsop County. Students will be admitted to TBCC and will attend lectures remotely on the CCC campus as well as complete their general requirements at CCC. Field trips in the Tillamook area will be required.

New Leadership at CCC Library

Clatsop Community College has named Luke Kralik as the new Director of the Dora Badollet Library. Kralik, who started in his new position on August 3, served as Library Director/Librarian at Tillamook Bay Community College since January 2011.
