Lower Columbia Classic Car Club Supports Automotive Trades at CCC

The Lower Columbia Classic Car Club is continuing its strong partnership with the CCC Automotive program. The Club has provided much needed support to the program over the last several years by donating specialized tools, and this year they identified the need for new work benches. To accomplish this purpose and renew its support, the Club has presented CCC with a generous donation of $2,268.99.

Education Town Hall: The Coastal Commitment

Clatsop Community College and the School Districts of Clatsop County will host an Education Town Hall presentation, Monday, December 3, 7:00 – 8:00pm in the CCC gym, Patriot Hall, 1650 Lexington Avenue, Astoria.

RAIN Magazine, Clatsop Community College's (CCC) literary publication, is accepting submissions now through January 10, 2013 for the Spring 2013 edition.

Ales & Ideas Presents Calendrics: The Mathematics of Calendars with Rich Beveridge, MA


Clatsop Community College and Fort George Brewery are pleased to announce the next public event in the Ales & Ideas lecture series featuring free multimedia presentations by members of the CCC faculty and staff.  Thursday, November 29th in the Fort George Showroom, CCC Math Instructor Rich Beveridge will address the ancient and and intriguing mathematics of calendar making.

Join us for a free intergenerational presentation of support and appreciation for those who serve our country including a performance by the Jewell High School Band and presentations by Jerry Ostermiller, USCG Auxiliary Coordinator, Sector Columbia River and Lt. Joanna Rossetti, USCG, Sector Columbia River.

Family Fun Night with Curious George

Clatsop Community College's Early Childhood Education program will host readings in English and Spanish of "Curious George Plants a Seed", Monday, Nov. 19, 6-7pm, in Columbia Hall Room 219. Free books for the first 50 families; light refreshments. Join us for Activities - Food -and Friends.

Funding for this program is provided by Northwest Oregon Parenting Education and Support of Clatsop and Columbia counties.
