Master 100-Ton Course

Price: $760
Length: Minimum 80 hours (Self Paced)

This USCG approved course will satisfy the exam requirements for the original issue of Master or Mate 100-Ton or less with either an Inland or a Near Coastal route.

Master / Mate 200-Ton Course

Price: $830
Length: Minimum 108 hours (self Paced)

This USCG approved Master 200-ton course will satisfy the exam requirements for the original issue of Master or Mate 200-ton with either an Inland or a Near Coastal route and includes the following two-course sequence:

Professional Requirements

The Master is the captain in charge of the entire vessel and may also serve as the officer in charge of a navigational watch on the vessel. The Mate may serve as officer in charge of a navigational watch under the authority of a licensed Master. Both the Mate and Master licenses have the full authority of the OUPV license and the additional authority to serve on other types of inspected and un-inspected vessels, except for towing vessels.

These licenses are issued with tonnage limitations of 25, 50, 100, or 200-Tons depending on the size of vessels the applicants experience is on.
