Clatsop offers certification and re-certification classes designed to meet the needs and schedule of the working mariner. Most of our classes are taught in a one-week format and classes are accredited by the USCG to meet training and credentialing requirements.
The College’s USCG Credential Training Program is approved to satisfy federal maritime requirements. The approval allows students to complete the Training Program in lieu of U.S. Coast Guard testing for the following licenses:
Astoria is a true maritime town, and many of our students come from across the country to take their certification classes from Clatsop Community College.
