Workforce Alliance

WHAT IS THE WORKFORCE ALLIANCE?
The Workforce Alliance is a community partnership developed to assist with skill enhancements of the emerging workforce.  Business will have a chance to train the future workforce of Clatsop County youth.

The local high schools, the Northwest Regional ESD and Clatsop Community College have partnered for a joint mission: to improve the connections between Oregon schools, alternative schools, community colleges, and the regional employers.  Through this partnership high school youth will attend high school classes, workforce readiness classes and then move into high demand, high growth real world internship opportunities.  This is an opportunity for the employers to share their expertise and train potential employees.  Youth will have the opportunity to earn high school as well as community college credit.
