For most degrees, elective credit will refer courses at the 100 level and above that are not required courses for your major, but may be used to reach the 90 credit level required. Electives give students a chance to explore different classes, and have those classes count toward a degree. The AAOT is one example of a degree that allows you to explore different options. The AAOT limits professional and technical courses used for electives to 12 credits.
