DESCRIPTION:Join us to learn more about CCC’s 2027 summer trip to Italy!!! We have A LOT of interest in this amazing opportunity\, so we wanted to let you know about our first informational meeting this Thursday\, 9/24 in the Towler 3rd Floor Atrium\, from 5:30- 7 p.m. so you can reserve a spot ASAP.   \n\n\n\nWriting Instructor Tera Cole\, Writing Instructor Kama O’Connor\, and Art Instructor Kristin Shauck are planning to take students on a study trip to Italy next summer.  Students will have the opportunity to learn about the art\, culture\, history\, and literature first-hand.  The trip will take place June 13-21\, 2027. \n\n\n\nHere are some highlights of our 2027 Italy trip you can look forward to!  \n\n\n\n\nA guided tour of Venice City \n\n\n\nSt. Mark’s Square\n\n\n\nView a glass blowing demonstration\n\n\n\nRialto Bridge\n\n\n\nDoge’s Palace\n\n\n\nAdmission to Casa di Giulietta (Juliet’s House in Verona)\n\n\n\nThe Florence city center\n\n\n\nAccess to All Monuments of Piazza del Duomo\n\n\n\nUffizi Gallery\n\n\n\nThe Accademia\n\n\n\nGuided tour of Vatican City\n\n\n\nAdmission to the Vatican Museums (includes Whispers for Museum and Basilica)\n\n\n\nA guided tour of Ancient Rome\n\n\n\nAdmission to the Colosseum and Roman Forum\n\n\n\nPiazza Navona\n\n\n\nThe Spanish Steps\n\n\n\nThe Trevi Fountain\n\n\n\n\nBasic price of $5400 includes airfare from Portland\, hotels\, most meals\, all bus travel\, all entry tickets\, expert local guides\, transportation tickets\, and much more. \n\n\n\nCome join us to find out how to take part in this amazing opportunity with your fellow community and college folks!
