CCC Graduates stand at the 2018 commencement ceremonies in Patriot Hall

Clatsop Community College and the Fort George Brewery are pleased to kick-off the 2019-20 first Thursday Ales & Ideas lecture series.  On Thursday, October 3rd, CCC President Chris Breitmeyer will moderate a panel Why Education Matters: A Back to School Special featuring Associated Student Government President Steven Ellsberg, Lives in Transition Director Mindy Stokes, English Professor Julie Brown, and Community Education Coordinator Leah Olson. Come listen, or perhaps to ask questions as this talented group of educators explore the societal values of teaching, learning  and critical thinking.  Doors open with food and beverage service at 6pm. Seasonal beers on tap, food and other beverages are available for purchase, but no purchase is required. Minors are welcome. The Fort George Lovell Showroom is located at 14th and Duane St. in Astoria.
