This conference is designed to provide an array of information for individuals 50 years and older on issues they face in the second half of their lives. The day will start with check-in and exhibits from 8:30-9:30 a.m., followed by a welcome and a presentation from keynote speaker, Mac Burns. Lunch will be provided. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in three different workshop sessions during the day. There are several workshop topics to choose from during each session. Some of the workshop options include but are not limited to: Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, Living with Chronic Conditions, Nutrition, Retirement Planning, Genealogy, Caregiving 101, Lifelong Learning, the Benefits of Volunteering, Balance and Fall Prevention, and Master Gardening.
