Deac Guidi is a teacher and performer who lives on the North Coast. Roles include Leporello in Don Giovanni,

Harasta in The Cunning Little Vixen, Papageno in The Magic Flute, Oroveso in Norma, Albert in Werther, Pandolfe in Cendrillon, Count Rodolfo in La Sonnambula and the Police Sergeant in Pirates of Penzance with Tacoma Opera. He was recently seen as The Man with the Cornet Case in Postcard from Morocco with Portland Opera and the Bonze in Madame Butterfly with Tacoma Opera. Recent performances include returns to Portland Opera as Haly in L’Italiana in Algeri and Benoit in La Boheme and Dr. Bartolo in Il Barbiere di Siviglia with the Astoria Music Festival.

Dr. Susan Buehler is a Professor Emeritus from Baker University in Baldwin City, KS where she was a member of

the voice faculty for 25 years. Residing in Cannon Beach, Dr. Buehler maintains Music Lasts A Lifetime voice and piano studio where she teaches students of all ages. In addition to her teaching load, she is the pianist for the Cannon Beach Chorus and organist at Calvary Episcopal Church in Seaside and Cannon Beach Community Church. She is a soprano soloist and sought-after adjudicator for music festivals around the state. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, Oregon Music Educators Association, and Oregon Music Teachers Association. She also holds membership in the Astoria Friday Musical Club for which she serves as secretary and chair of the Scholarship Committee.
