WINGS (Women INterested in Going to School) is a day-long conference for women who would
benefit by returning to school to complete or begin educational efforts, including completion of a GED
or other degree programs, changing careers, or developing and updating job skills.
The conference is free to all participants with lunch and child care provided. Held at the college, the
conference will offer workshops to encourage and facilitate re-entry into school. The workshops focus
on financial aid, support programs, career planning, distance learning and more. In addition, there will
be a morning session to help women interested in going to an Oregon four year university.
