Bandit Fitness

Students, community members, faculty and staff may enroll in the Bandit Community Fitness program or Student Fitness course to use our on-campus fitness facilities.

Enrollment includes access to Patriot Hall’s indoor track, weight equipment, cardio equipment, gym floor, open court sports, and fitness orientations.

All users must sign up to use the facilities each term.

Student Fitness
FIT085064-D1

A required co-requisite for all PE and HPE courses and grants enrolled students access to Patriot Hall facilities for the term.

Bandit Community Fitness
FIT085067 (D1–D7)

Open to all students (taking one credit or more), community members, and CCC employees (ages 16+) and grants access to Patriot Hall facilities for the term.

Please note, all participants must be at least 16 years of age.

CCC Students

Students taking one or more credit

Students taking one academic credit or more per term (for grade or audit) may sign up for Bandit Community Fitness for Students, FIT085067-D7, and use the Patriot Hall facilities at no additional charge.

Please note, if you are a planning to take a PE or HPE course this coming term, you do not need to register for Bandit Community Fitness, but will instead be prompted (in MyCCC) to sign up for the co-requisite Student Fitness, FIT085064-D1.

All users must sign up to use the facilities each term.

  1. Review Rules and Regulations
    Before you register, please read the Rules and Regulations carefully. All participants are responsible for understanding and complying with all Patriot Hall Rules and Regulations.
  2. Register Online
    We encourage you to register online through your MyCCC account. It is easy and should take less than 3 minutes.
    1.   Go to MyCCC portal: clatsopcc.edu/myccc
    2.   Sign in with your CCC username, CCC ID, or Social Security # and password
    3.   Confirm that your contact information is current
    4.   Under the upcoming term, search for "FIT085067-D7" or "Bandit Community Fitness: Students and Employees"
    5.   "Add class to cart"
    6.   Follow directions on screen
  3. Sign a 2018/2019 Liability Release
    Liability releases are good for one academic year, so if you have already singed and filed a Liability Release this year,  you are all set. If you have not completed a liability release form this year, you must bring a completed form to the Welcome Center before using the facility.
    Liability Release for Adults (ages 18+)
    Liability Release for Minors (ages 16–18)

  1. Review Rules and Regulations for use. Please read these carefully before registering to use the facility. All participants are responsible for understanding and complying with all Patriot Hall Rules and Regulations. 
  2. Fill out the appropriate Fitness Registration form (at the beginning of each term) and Liability Release form (once per academic year):
    Adult Fitness Forms (ages 18+)
    Minor Fitness Forms (ages 16-17)
  3. Return the completed forms to the Welcome Center before using the facility

 

Once you are registered, be sure to check in and out at the information desk on the 3rd floor of Patriot Hall (by the track).

Community Members

Area residents may sign up for Bandit Community Fitness to use Patriot Hall’s indoor track, weight equipment, cardio equipment, gym floor, and participate in open court sports. Enrollment is good for one academic term. All users must sign-up to use the facilities each term.

To sign-up

  1. Review Rules and Regulations for use. Please read these carefully before registering to use the facility. All participants are responsible for understanding and complying with all Patriot Hall Rules and Regulations.
  2. Complete Bandit Community Fitness Registration and Liability Release forms at the beginning of each academic term:
    Registration and Liability Release Form (Adult 18+)
    Registration and Liability Release Form (Minors 16-17)
  3. Submit completed forms and pay the corresponding fee at the Welcome Center in Columbia Hall. Open Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, closed on Fridays in July and August)
  4. Sign in and out at the information desk on the 3rd floor of Patriot Hall (by the track).

Faculty + Staff

CCC regular employees and their eligible* dependents (ages 16+) may sign up for Bandit Community Fitness for Employees, FIT085067-D7, and use the Patriot Hall facilities at no charge. A “regular employee” is an individual who is currently being paid wages for work performed for the College—includes both full-time and part-time staff and faculty. This does not include independent contractors.

Please note, if you are a planning to take a PE or HPE course this coming term, you do not need to register for Bandit Community Fitness, but will instead be prompted (in MyCCC) to sign up for the co-requisite Student Fitness, FIT085064-D1.

*In order for eligible employee dependents (spouses, domestic partners, family members, etc) to receive the tuition waiver benefit, a Tuition Waiver verification form must be on file with Human Resources. Contact Human Resources, ext 2406, with any questions.
