Nursing Assistant coursework leading to CNA-1 certification:

  • The Nursing Assistant course is offered every term and is open to anyone who meets the reading requirement for entry.
    This requirement can be met in one of three ways:
             score of 79 or higher on the Compass reading test
             OR completion of RD 90
             OR completion of a college level course with C grade or higher
    Students must also:
         submit to criminal background check
         purchase textbook and uniform
         submit to a TB test 
         submit to a 10 panel drug screen
         provide information about current immunization status
         attend CPR for Healthcare Providers training

         (The TB test and CPR course will be provided for students during each term.)

Coursework leading to CNA-2 Acute Care certification:

  • CNA -II Acute Care
    Pending approval by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, watch this page for further news.
  • To be eligible for CNA-II, you must already be a CNA-I certified in Oregon.
