Nursing Assistant coursework leading to CNA-1 certification:

Please follow this link to email Tina Kotson  if you wish to register for the following course:

  • The Nursing Assistant course is offered every term and is open to anyone who meets the reading requirement for entry.
    This requirement can be met in one of three ways:
             score of 79 or higher on the Compass reading test
             OR completion of RD 90
             OR completion of a college level course with C grade or higher
    Students must also:
         submit to criminal background check
         purchase textbook and uniform
         submit to a TB test
         attend CPR for Healthcare Providers training
    (The TB test and CPR course will be provided for students during each term.)

Coursework leading to CNA-2 Acute Care certification:

  • CNA -II Acute Care
    Pending approval by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, CCC hopes to offer a CNA - II Acute Care course beginning in Fall 2013 or Winter 2014.
  • To be eligible for CNA-II, you must already be a CNA-I certified in Oregon.
