Deac Guidi and Kelsi Nelson present “A Spectrum of Song” at the CCC Performing Arts Center (PAC), Sunday, October 14, 3:30p.m. Tickets ($15) are available now from the CCC Foundation, 503-338-2306.
“A Spectrum of Song” is a performance of arias, art songs, Broadway standards and “The Telephone” one-act opera by Deac Guidi and Kelsi Nelson, accompanied by Susan Buehler.
Deac Guidi is a Speech instructor at CCC He first began performing as an undergraduate at Montana State University in Bozeman. Deac has appeared in the Astoria Music Festival since its founding, and appears frequently with the North Coast Chorale and numerous other organizations. Soprano Kelsi Nelson attended the Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. She currently lives in Naselle, WA.
“A Spectrum of Song” is sponsored by the Clatsop Community College Foundation with generous support from CCC Foundation board member Gerry Swenson. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the CCC Foundation Scholarship Fund and Support the PAC, a community-based effort to maintain the PAC as an affordable public arts and education venue.
