Looking for Money to Attend College?

Beginning January 1, 2013, persons thinking of attending college should complete the 2013-2014 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The FAFSA determines a person’s eligibility for financial aid for the 2013-2014 academic year which runs from Summer term of 2013 through Spring term of 2014 at Clatsop Community College.  It is important to complete the FAFSA every year you plan on attending college and to complete it as early as possible as some types of aid can be depleted as the year goes on.  For example, the Oregon Opportunity Grant is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis for eligible Oregon residents who complete their FAFSA before February 1st.

If you would like assistance in completing the FAFSA, you are invited to attend FAFSA Day at Clatsop Community College on Thursday, January 17.  Financial aid staff will be available from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Towler Hall Room 105, 1660 Lexington Avenue, Astoria to answer your questions and help you through the process.

Please direct inquiries to:  CCC Financial Aid Office, 503-338-2317.

Accommodations: Persons having questions about or a request for special needs and accommodation should contact JoAnn Zahn, Vice President of Finance and Operations, at Clatsop Community College, 1651 Lexington Avenue, Astoria, Oregon 97103, Phone (503) 338-2421 or TDD (503) 338-2468.
