Lives in Transition Boosts Student Confidence; Fall Orientation Scheduled

The CCC Lives in Transition (LIT) program provides a supportive environment that assists students with decisions about career possibilities, personal growth and ways to continue their education.

The program consists of two college courses:  “Life Transitions” and “Coping With Stress and Depression.”

Classes will be held in Astoria and Seaside at various times and locations for convenient attendance:

  • Astoria, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9am-1:30pm
  • Seaside, Mondays, 10:30am-2:30pm
  • Astoria, Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30pm-7:30pm

Enrollment in LIT beginning fall term 2011 requires attendance at one orientation session. Sessions are scheduled on:

  • Thursday, September 22, 9am-11am and Monday, September 26, 5:30pm-7:30pm, LIT Resource Room, Alder Hall 2nd floor, 1775 Lexington Ave, Astoria. A handicapped accessible lift is available through the Business office on the 1st floor.
  • Monday, September 26, 10:30am-2:30pm, CCC South County Campus, 1455 N Roosevelt, Seaside.
