Clatsop Community College welcomed local high school seniors on Thursday, February 17 for Senior Preview Day.
Senior Preview Day is an annual event designed to give students the chance to learn about the various programs and opportunities available to them at CCC.
In addition to the day’s other activities, the nearly 140 students in attendance had the opportunity to partake in one element of the impending College identity redesign; influencing the choice of the planned revision of the College’s logo. They were the first to see the unveiling of four possible logo designs considered as part of the College’s identity redesign. The logos are under consideration by the Identity Redesign Team—a committee made up of CCC employees.
As potentially the first class to attend CCC under a completely redesigned logo in more than thirty years, the students were invited to give initial feedback for a chance to win one of three, 3-credit CCC tuition vouchers.
The students—along with the College and local community—are invited to provide their feedback now through March 1st. To view designs and/or to provide feedback, click here.

Clatsop Community College President Larry Galizio was on hand at this year’s Senior Preview Day to announce one phase of the College’s planned identity redesign—a new logo. He is pictured here with enlargements of the four designs under consideration for selection as students take time to make initial comments. Students, College personnel and the local community are invited to view the designs and provide feedback now until March 1st.
