February 22nd Job and Career Fair Serves Students and Community

The Clatsop County Job and Career Fair will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd, at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds serving high school students from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and re-opening the venue at 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for adult job seekers and those wanting more information about career and job opportunities in Clatsop County.

Free shuttle transportation will be available for pick-up and drop off at the Worksource Building downtown and at Clatsop Community College. Shuttle service will start at 1:30 p.m. at the Worksource Building, continue at the CCC busstop on the east side of the Library in the lower parking lot at 1:45 p.m. and will continuously loop the route to the fairgrounds every 20 minutes. The last drop off will be at CCC at 4:45 p.m.

Area employers will be at booths focusing on immediate and summer job openings in the local community along with businesses looking for skilled employees to fill career technical positions in the workforce. Information on career options for college-bound students will also be available.
