CCC Programs Welcome New Equipment

Students in CCC nursing and healthcare training programs will gain increasingly realistic lab experience thanks to Tillamook County General Hospital.

TCGH has generously donated eight, professional-quality, modern hospital beds to CCC. The hospital is operated as a partnership between Adventist Health, a non-profit health system, and Tillamook County.

Program Director Laurie Choate notes, “We have a wonderful relationship with our Tillamook partners, and they regularly donate much needed equipment to help us equip our new lab space in our new facilities. This helps us trim costs to the college, and in turn, our students, while maintaining well equipped labs. It’s a great help to us, and it is very much appreciated. ”

CCC maintains a strong partnership with TCGH through its nursing cohort of Tillamook County students and its clinical rotation that includes TCGH. Admission into CCC’s nursing program is extremely competitive and limited to twenty new students annually. Students enjoy a high rate of success and quick entrance into the job market. In addition to nursing certificate and degree programs, CCC also offers training for medical assistants, certified nursing assistants and emergency medical technicians.
