Clatsop Community College and the Fort George Brewery are pleased to announce Ales & Ideas, a new lecture series featuring multimedia presentations by members of the CCC faculty and staff.
Free events will take place at the Fort George Showroom in the Lovell Building on the fourth Thursday of each month, except December and March. Doors open at 6:00 pm, with lectures beginning at 7:00 pm. Seasonal beers on tap, food and other beverages are available for purchase. Minors are welcome with an accompanying adult. Dr. Julie Brown, CCC English faculty and author of Writers on the Spectrum (Kingsley Inc. 2010), will kick off the series on Thursday September 27th with Autism in Wonderland: How Asperger's Syndrome Influenced Lewis Carroll's Writing. All are welcome. Please join for an engaging evening in a cozy community setting.
