Summer Advising Helps Start Maritime, Fire or EMT Careers at Clatsop

Anyone interested in beginning training for a Maritime Science, Fire Science or EMT career is encouraged to attend one of the following special advising sessions scheduled over the next four months. All sessions will be conducted in the Maritime Science Conference Room at the Clatsop Community College MERTS Campus, 6540 Liberty Lane, Astoria. Pre-registration is not required for these open sessions. Advising appointments can also be scheduled at other times as needed by calling 503-325-7962.

Clatsop County Students Named 2015 Ford Scholars

Two Clatsop County high school students who are part of the Clatsop Community College TRiO Pre-College program have been named Ford Scholars for 2015. The Ford Family Foundation selected Maddie Sutton from Astoria High School and Ryan Simpson from Knappa High School from among 4,697 applicants.
