CCC ROV Team Qualifies for International Competition

The Clatsop Community College Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) team will be heading to Long Beach, California in June to participate in the 2017 MATE international Remotely Operated Vehicle competition. CCC physics instructor, Pat Keefe, advises the student team made up of Sam Daire, Jennifer Jordan, Georges Oates Larsen, Sean Sullivan, and Haley Werst.

Fort George Brewery Co-Owner, Chris Nemlowill, to Address CCC Graduates

Clatsop Community College is proud to announce that Chris Nemlowill, co-owner of Fort George Brewery, will address graduates at the 2017 commencement ceremony Friday, June 16, at 7 p.m. in Patriot Hall at the CCC campus in Astoria.

“I’ve been asking a lot of people if they remember who spoke at their graduation, and not many do. I hope to give the graduates something they will enjoy and maybe even remember,” stated Nemlowill.
