Tobacco Free Campus - 1 Day Stand

With sponsorship from the CCC Wellness Committee, Clatsop Community College will host a 1 Day Stand on November 19, 2015 to celebrate the American Cancer Society's Great American Smokeout and participate in the Tobacco Free College Campus Initiative Challenge. This one-day event is intended to start a conversation that ends in a healthier campus for all. As a 1 Day Stand participant, Clatsop Community College is requesting no use of tobacco products on any college property on November 19.

Application Period Opens for Largest Scholarship for High-Achieving Community College Students

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation invites applications for its prestigious Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship, the nation’s largest private scholarship for high-achieving community college students from low-income backgrounds who seek to transfer to a selective four-year institution. Cooke Scholars will receive up to $40,000 per year for up to three years of study at any four-year accredited college or university. Approximately 85 Cooke Scholars will be selected for the coming year.
