JCRP Work Begins On Clatsop Community College’s Towler Hall |
From: Caitlin Wright Clatsop Community College JCRP Work Begins On Clatsop Community College’s Towler Hall While student traffic has slowed at Clatsop Community College (CCC) for the summer, Jerome Campus Redevelopment Project (JCRP) construction expands to include work on historic Towler Hall. As part of the overall JCRP planning, Towler Hall will be upgraded into a modernized learning facility while restoring historic features. Summer work scheduled for Towler Hall will address structural issues and include: seismic upgrades in attic space and the roof structure, placement of a new roof membrane, exterior restoration and coatings. A mock-up example of the building’s updated windows—constructed in the same size and design of the original windows—is already in place. Additionally, the stoop at the North entrance has been removed and a haul road for construction purposes has been created in front of the building. Work will continue on Towler Hall through the duration of the JCRP construction. For more information about the JCRP, visit www.clatsopcc.edu/campus Images Attached:
