Hillman, Jr. Foundation Joins Others In Funding CCC’s Jerome Campus Redevelopment Project Clatsop Community College (CCC) has received word that the Board of Trustees of the Henry Lea Hillman, Jr. Foundation has awarded the College $10,000 for funding of the Jerome Campus Redevelopment Project (JCRP). "Our students know that a community college education is not only an affordable option, but also a quality option. This contribution from the H. L. Hillman, Jr. Foundation for the Jerome Campus Redevelopment Project will help us continue to offer high quality education to students right here in our community. We are very grateful for this support," says Greg Hamann, CCC President. As part of the JCRP plan, the main CCC campus will be modernized while maintaining as much of the existing building and infrastructure as possible. The H. L. Hillman, Jr. Foundation grant is part of the overall success of the JCRP plan. Their support will be combined with $19.25 million in secured funds from sources such as the Oregon Legislature, the James F. and Marion L. Miller Foundation, the Juan Young Trust, ShoreBank Enterprise Cascadia, Ann and Bill Swindells Charitable Trust, Meyer Memorial Trust, and the Oregon Community Foundation. Together, the funds will help to ensure that CCC is able to continue to provide a safe and accessible learning environment for present and future students.
