CCC Volunteer Literacy Tutors Honored For Their Service
On Thursday, April 23rd, 2009 several volunteers with the Clatsop Community College Literacy Tutor program were honored with a lunch for their many hours of volunteer service with students learning English or looking to upgrade their reading and writing skills.
“Our volunteers make a great impact in the lives of our students, and have enriched their own lives in the process,” says Eileen Purcell, CCC’s Outreach Literacy Tutor Coordinator.
