Follow the steps below to apply for admissions.

  1. Complete the Online Admission Application.
  2. Take the COMPASS Placement Evaluation. Online registration for the Compass is available through the online application. The COMPASS is computer based evaluation designed to identify your start level in reading, math, and writing. There is a $15 placement test fee required prior to testing. If you have completed the COMPASS or college courses that include writing and math, you may not have to take the COMPASS. Submit transcripts or COMPASS scores to the Admission’s Office for waiver consideration for coursework or testing completed at another college. If you intend to transfer credit to CCC official transcripts will be required.
  3. Register for courses.
  4. Pay tuition and fees.

Yes, many students attend CCC and then transfer to a four-year college. The Associate in Arts, Oregon Transfer Degree allows you to complete lower division requirements at CCC. If you complete this degree and are accepted at Oregon public universities, you are admitted as having completed all the lower division General Education Requirements for a baccalaureate degree.
