Community Education classes have varying fees.   Each class has a fee that is listed in the term schedule that is mailed to all households in Clatsop County.  You can also go on-line on the Clatsop College website and see the costs of each class in the Community Education section of the website.  If you still have questions, please feel free to call Paula at 503-338-2408.

Community Education is a program that offers educational, informational and personal enrichment classes, as well as workforce training classes, to residents in the Astoria and surrounding areas.  The classes offered are non-credit.  Each quarter a term schedule with a variety of listed topics and subjects is mailed to every household in Clatsop County.  Please visit  /sites/default/files/file/Non-Academic_Fa11_web(8).pdf to see what classes are currently being offered.  Or call Paula at 503-338-2408 for further information.  Hope to see you in class!

ENCORE stands for Exploring New Concepts of Retirement Education and is sponsored by Clatsop Community College.  It is a volunteer organization with members who pay $50 annual dues and are 50 years and older.  ENCORE plans and holds its own classes which are separate from the Community Education courses offered through the college.  Members and people from the community teach the various classes such as History, Science, Contemporary Issues, Music, and many, many more.  To learn more, please call 503-338-2408!
