FisherPoets Gathering 2011
After the 14th FPG: In spite of snow & ice & even closures on the approaching roads, a bracing easterly winter wind blowing through Astoria, a final hard chilly rain, in spite of all that weather, most of the 80-plus 2011 fisherpoets, the 50 or so onsite community volunteers, and a plentiful audience made it to the 14th FisherPoets Gathering for one more grand time! FPGthanks all who made the extra effort to come.

The FisherPoets Gathering has become an Astoria tradition, bringing men and women tied to the fishing industry together to share original poems, stories, songs, memoirs, essays and art in celebration of the work, its people and their concerns.
