Athletics at Clatsop Community College
Due to location and economic issues, athletics at CCC were discontinued in the late 1970's; however, President Larry Galizio is heading a workforce committee that is currently researching the possibility of regaining college sponsored athletic activities at CCC. As this committee does more research and continues to pursue the possibilities of returning athletics to the college, many interested students, faculty, and staff participate in various courses related to team sports and have open gym nights that focus on competitive play for interested individuals. If you have questions about this committee or other athletic, or health and physical education questions please use the following information to contact our department.
