Foundation Skills Institute

What is the Institute?

The Foundation Skills Institute provides an intensive curriculum in math, reading, writing, and study skills to prepare students for 100 level college courses.

Who should enroll?

Students whose COMPASS scores indicate that additional preparation is needed in one or more skill areas prior to beginning courses required for a certificate or degree program.

Currently, pre-college reading and writing has been combined into Language Arts 90. This course is offered on a Pass, Sufficient Progress, No Credit basis.
